KATHMANDU: AUGUST 18 – Three persons have been arrested on the charge of stealing and cutting the cow-calf which was tied to the cowshed. According to Mohan Prasad Pokhrel, Senior Superintendent of Police at the State Police Office, the arrested are Asari Gharti, 28, Sabin Budhamgar, 22, and Asmita Budhamgar, 21, of Puranchaur in Baglung Nisikhola.
They were arrested on Tuesday on the charge of cutting the calf of a cross cow tied to the cowshed of Keshar Bahadur Adhikari of Pokhara Metropolitan City-19, Puranchaur. After receiving the news of the theft of the calf, the on-duty police team conducted a search operation and arrested them from a place about two kilometres away from the officer’s house.
