Calling it the official decision of the party on Tuesday, Chairman KP Oli’s party submitted the names of 260 central members to the Election Commission. A team including UML leader and Election Committee Coordinator Agni Kharel reached the Election Commission on Tuesday and submitted a written request to update the details of the Central Committee.

The Central Committee, which has 203 members till now, has been made 260 members by adding 53 members and the details have been sent to the Election Commission.

If the commission recognizes it and a new ordinance is issued, the Nepal Group needs the support of 52 central members to register a new party.
