T20 World Cup: India and Pakistan to play in the first match of the Super 12 [With Schedule]

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 17 – The schedule for the Twenty20 Cricket World Cup in the UAE and Oman has been made public. According to the schedule released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for the World Cup on Tuesday, India will play with Pakistan in the first match.

India and Pakistan, who are in Group Two of the Super 12, will play on October 24. The game will be played in Dubai.

These two rivals have not played in the 2019 ODI World Cup since. India had won that game.

In the first phase of the competition, eight teams including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland, Namibia, Oman and Papua New Guinea will compete. From this stage, four teams will enter the Super 12.

In Group Two of the Super-12, India and Pakistan will be joined by New Zealand, Afghanistan and the winners of Group B of the first round and runners-up in Group A.

England, Australia, South Africa and West Indies are in the same group. The winner of Group A and the runner-up of Group B will be in the first round. The final competition will be held on November 14 in Dubai.
