Regmi as Deputy CEO of Global IME Bank

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 16 – Surendra Raj Regmi has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO) of Global IME Bank. A meeting of the board of directors has promoted him to the post of deputy CEO with effect from August 17.

Regmi, who joined Global IME Bank from the post of Deputy Manager in April 2008, is currently supervising the Department of Small and Medium, Retail Credit, Operations and General Administration towards Global IME Bank loans.

With a 30-year banking career, Regmi received his MBA in 2001 from the University of Wales, UK.

Regmi, who has received dozens of national and international training related to the banking sector, is considered an expert in the field of merger management and credit investment.
