Hitendra filed a writ petition seeking annulment of Kulman’s appointment

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 16 – Hitendra Dev Shakya has filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court seeking reinstatement of the executive director of Nepal Electricity Authority.

According to the Supreme Court administration, he has filed a writ petition seeking reinstatement of Kulman Ghising after the government removed him from the post of executive director. An interim order has been sought in the writ petition.

A meeting of the cabinet held on Monday had decided to appoint Ghising in place of Shakya as the executive director of NEA.
