Nepal reports 2,212 new COVID-19 cases, 33 new deaths

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 15 – Another 2,212 people in Nepal have been confirmed to have coronavirus on Sunday.

In the past 24 hours, PCR and antigen tests have tested 12,106 people in laboratories across the country and confirmed the infection in 2,212 people, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Another 1,867 patients were released after recovery, bringing the total number of cured and discharged to 6,82,682. Another 33 more deaths were reported, bringing the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 10,292.

Currently, there are 39,298 active cases across the country.
