KATHMANDU: AUGUST 15 – The Central Committee meeting of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) is coming to an end today. According to spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha, the ongoing meeting at Anupam Foodland in Battisputali from Saturday (yesterday) will end today. “The eight groups have already discussed the political report and the legislative amendment proposal presented by the chairman,” said Shrestha. As per the understanding so far, the meeting will end today. ‘

After this, a meeting of the standing committee will be held and the meeting will form a common view from the suggestions and inquiries of the leaders, said spokesperson Shrestha. “The standing committee meeting discusses the suggestions made by the eight groups of comrades and presents a common view of one party,” said Shrestha.

On the first day of the ongoing Central Committee meeting (yesterday), Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ had submitted a proposal to amend the constitution along with the political and organizational report. The leaders have already discussed the report of Chairman Prachanda. In the report, it is proposed to hold the party’s general convention from December to 28.
