Nepali world record team honored

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 15 – Himal FM 90.2 MHz has honored the Nepali world record team by organizing a formal event. For the first time, FM has honored the record team with ‘Himal Sahasik Kala Samman 2078’.

Former Vice President Parmananda Jha and Special Guest Reports Club President Rishi Dhamala were the chief guests at the event sponsored by Rai’s brand. The event was presided over by Nima Sherpa, President of Mall FM. The Chief Guest, Distinguished Guest and Chairman together honored the 17-member team.

Last year, for the first time in the Himalayan region of Gokyo in Solukhumbu district, a team of Nepali artists recorded their name in the Guinness Book of World Records by recording audio and video recordings of the song ‘Gokyo Ri’ at an altitude of 4813 meters. The certificate of Guinness Book of World Records was also handed over by the distinguished guest Rishi Dhamala.
