Nepal reports 2,624 new COVID-19 cases, 20 new deaths

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 14 – Another 2,624 people in Nepal have been confirmed to have coronavirus on Saturday. According to the Ministry of Health, 8,667 PCR tests were conducted across the country and 1,947 and 4,906 antigen tests were confirmed on 677 people.
At the same time, the number of coronavirus in Nepal has reached 85,190. Another 20 more deaths were reported, bringing the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 10,259.
Another 1,320 patients were released after recovery, bringing the total number of cured and discharged to 6,80,815.
Currently, there are 39,405 actively isolated and 411 quarantined infected people in Nepal. So far, 37,49,484 PCRs and 3,91,835 antigens have been tested in Nepal, according to the ministry.
