Nepal reports 3,915 new COVID-19 cases, 27 new deaths

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 13 – Another 3,915 people in Nepal have been confirmed to have coronavirus on Friday.

During the 11,708 PCR tests conducted across the country, 2,763 and 6,874 antigen tests reached 1,152.

At the same time, the number of coronavirus infections in Nepal has reached 8 lakh 2 thousand 566. Another 27 more deaths were reported, bringing the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 10,239.

Another 2,118 patients were released after recovery, bringing the total number of cured and discharged to 6,79,495.

Currently, there are 38,798 actively isolated and 439 quarantined infected people in Nepal.

So far, 3,740,817 PCRs and 386,929 antigens have been tested in Nepal, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
