Teachers arrested on their way to Baluwatar [Photos]

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 13 – Police have arrested the teachers who were on their way to besiege the Prime Minister’s official residence Baluwatar. They were arrested from Tangal High School in Tangal. Teachers of the Nepal Teachers’ Association who had gathered at Tangal High School to make their demands to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba have been arrested from the school premises.

Police have arrested more than 50 teachers. They have been kept at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Maligaun. Teachers are still agitating inside the Tangal Higher Secondary School premises.
