Gandaki University to begin Bachelor’s in Sports Management

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 13 – The Gandaki University established by the Gandaki State is preparing to run a four-year-long Bachelor’s in Sports Management, the first of its kind in the country.

The university has already called for admission for the Bachelor’s in Sports Management and eligible candidates are asked to submit admission documents by August 16, the university stated.

University’s Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nabaraj Devkota said that the students would be given classes on practical and theoretical aspects of sports science.

The Gandaki University established two years ago with an aim to produce technical human resources has unveiled academic programmes from this year.

The university is also scheduled to run Bachelor’s in Information Technology (BIT) from this year.
