Monsoon active again: Possibility of heavy rains in these states

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 13 – Recently the country, in general, viewed the full change while remaining state 2, Bagmati state and Gandaki state some places mild to moderate rain with thunder lightning is happening. According to the Water and Weather Forecast Division, the monsoon is raining as the low-pressure line is close to the Terai region of Nepal.

According to the Division, light to moderate rain is expected in many parts of the country this afternoon. In this process, there is a possibility of heavy rain including thunder/lightning in one or two places of State-1, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Far Western States.

Similarly, light to moderate rain is likely in many parts of the country at night. In this process, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder/lightning in State-1, State-2, few places of Bagmati and one or two places in Gandaki, Lumbini and Far Western States.

The department has urged the people to be vigilant as there is a risk of landslides and gegran in the weak hills and flood and erosion in the riparian areas. The monsoon has become more active since Wednesday.
