Pokhara tourism entrepreneurs get vaccinated
POKHARA: AUGUST 12 – The government has provided vaccines with special facilities to tourism entrepreneurs in the tourist capital Pokhara. The government has provided adequate vaccines after continuous protests by businessmen. Business-focused vaccine distribution has started on Thursday.
Two thousand five hundred people have been vaccinated through Pokhara Tourism Council on Thursday. Chairman Gopi Bahadur Bhattarai informed that vaccines will be available regularly as per the need. According to him, even industrialists and businessmen are getting vaccinated.
Gandaki Tourism Minister Manibhadra Sharma and Law Minister Bindukumar Thapa inspected the vaccination centres and directed for easy distribution. Minister Sharma said that vaccines would also be available to tourism entrepreneurs in other districts.
“No one should be disappointed with the vaccine. The government will provide it anyway,” he said. “Work in your profession and service with high morale.” Kamala Giri, general secretary of Natta Gandaki, said that they are ready to welcome tourists after receiving the vaccine.
