Lumbini State: Call for New Government Formation

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 11 – Amik Sherchan, the state chief, has called for the formation of a new government in Lumbini. After the resignation of Shankar Pokharel on Wednesday, Chief Sherchan issued a notice calling for the formation of a government within 24 hours.

Chief Sherchan has given a deadline of 3 pm tomorrow for the members of the state assembly to get the majority in support of two or more parties. Congress Lumbini parliamentary party leader Birendra Kumar Kanodia has said that they are working for that. “We are working together to form a government,” Kanodia told Makalu Khabar.
