Let there be national consensus on MCC: Speaker Sapkota

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 11 – Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota expressed hope that there would be a national consensus on the US Assistance Project (MCC) as the issue has reached the doorsteps of the people.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, he said he was studying the issue in a neutral manner, adding that it would be easier to move forward if there was a national consensus in the MCC.

“I am studying the MCC in a neutral way. In terms of moving this forward, I want a national consensus, because it is a matter that has reached the doorsteps of the people, ”he said.
