JANAKPUR: AUGUST 11 – Two people have died in Dhanusha due to electric shock. Two people were killed when a sudden current flowed into the microphone while they were chanting hymns to God.

The deceased have been identified as Binda Das, 55, of Laxminiya Village Municipality-3 and Maniram Yadav, 50, of the same place. According to police, the two died on the spot when a microphone suddenly flowed current during the hymns at the house of Bhulan Yadav of Chhireshwarnath Municipality-3, Parsa Tole.

Das and Yadav went to Yadav’s house to sing hymns. The bodies of the deceased have been kept at the State Hospital, Janakpur for autopsy and further investigation is underway, according to the Area Police Office, Mahendranagar.
