Prohibitory order extended till August 24, More Strict from Thursday

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 10 – The government has decided to strictly enforce the prohibitory order in the Kathmandu Valley from Thursday.

A joint meeting of the chief district officers of the three districts of the Kathmandu Valley held on Tuesday has decided not to operate the local transport from 9 am to 11 am and from 4 pm to 7 pm.

The meeting also decided to ban all types of vehicles after 8 pm.

Local transportation will not be allowed to operate from 9 am to 11 am and from 4 pm to 7 pm, private and public vehicles other than the emergency ones must reach their destination by 8 o’clock, ”the statement said.
