Messi posters started to be torn down by Barcelona
KATHMANDU: AUGUST 10 – Barcelona have begun tearing down posters of their former star player Messi at the Nou Camp. Messi’s poster has been removed from the Nou Camp after failing to renew its contract with Messi.
Messi is set to sign a contract with French club PSG today.
Messi, who has been at Barcelona for the last 21 years, has brought Barcelona and his personal heights and achievements to the pinnacle. He managed to keep himself in the hearts of millions of fans around the world.
He has scored a record 672 goals in 778 games for Barcelona. He scored 120 goals in the Champions League and 474 goals in La Liga. He is also the top scorer in La Liga.
Messi has won Europe’s prestigious Golden Shoe Award (Continental Top Scorer) six times.
He won all the titles from Barcelona. La Liga has won the prestigious European Champions League four times, La Liga 10 times, the Copa del Rey seven times, the UEFA Super Cup three times and the Club World Cup three times.
