Fire destroys shops

MYAGDI: AUGUST 10 – Two shops have been turned into ashes with the fire that occurred at Beni, district headquarters of Myagdi, this morning.

The fire destroyed Raghuganga Dairy and Nayana Stores located at New Road of Beni Municipality-8, causing the loss of tens of thousands of rupees. However, no human casualty has been reported.

The flame was put out with joint efforts of the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, the Armed Police Force and locals. Proprietor of Nayana Store, Jagannatha Sharma, informed that the fire caused a huge loss.

An explosion of the gas cylinder was heard during the fire. It is guessed that the fire broke out with an electric short circuit in dairy.
