Demand of five student organizations to arrange vaccination for students before the examination
KATHMANDU: AUGUST 9 – Five student organizations have demanded the government to provide vaccination to all students before conducting examinations at Tribhuvan University.
Handing over a memorandum to Minister of State for Health Umesh Shrestha on Monday, the Nepal Students Union / Akhil (Revolutionary) / All Nepal National Free Students Union / Socialist Students Union and Akhil (Sixth) demanded that all students be vaccinated at all examination centers in the country.
They demanded that the examination should be conducted smoothly by vaccinating the manpower and students of the university and adopting health standards. They also demanded that all the students should be vaccinated against COVID-19 before the examination.
“The risk of coronavirus has increased because students across the country have not been vaccinated and have failed to meet health standards,” the memorandum said.
The memorandum was signed by Rajiv Dhungana, president of the Nepal Student Union, Ranjit Tamang, president of Akhil (Revolutionary), Sudesh Parajuli, president of All Nepal National Free Students Union, Rupnarayan Shrestha, president of Socialist Students Union and Bimal Pokharel, president of Akhil (Sixth).
