Action against those who do not wear masks

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 8 – A total of 1,337 people not wearing masks have been taken action during the week-long ‘Health Standards and Traffic Awareness Campaign’ jointly organized by the District Traffic Police Office and the District Police Office. Chief of the Traffic Police Amrit Bahadur Basnet informed that they have been informed about the rules.

According to him, 9,000 leaflets and 2,200 masks related to health standards and traffic rules were distributed during the period and awareness-raising flex prints were also pasted in various places. He said that Rs. 137,000 has been collected as a fine from those who walk without wearing masks.
