We make students dream and fulfill dreams: Himalayan White House
KATHMANDU: AUGUST 8 – There are many campuses for higher education in Kathmandu. This has made it an option for students coming from all over the country to pursue higher education. Students choose the college that suits them based on the educational environment of these colleges and the fees.
One such college is the Himalayan White House International College. The college, located in Subidhanagar, Tinkune, has been showing its strong presence in the field of education for 21 years. Narayan Kafle, executive director of White House College, says that he has entered the education sector of Nepal with new thinking, style, technology and ideas. Due to this thinking, Kafle claims that from the very beginning, he was able to bring excellent results in the higher secondary level and now in the 11th and 12th classes.
”We are proud of the fact that the manpower produced by our college is affiliated with various prestigious institutions and organizations and on the other hand, we are inspired to make manpower that can prove itself efficient in the changing times,” said Kafle.
Kafle said that all kinds of educational programs are available in the college to produce skilled manpower.
College educational programs
Faculty of Science, Management, Law and Humanities are being taught at Himalayan White House International College. According to the college administration, 500 students from the science faculty come to the White House College every year. Similarly, 300 students in the Faculty of Management and 100 students in the Faculty of Humanities have been admitted to the White House College.
A total of 1,200 students with higher education and school level are currently studying at White House College. Even during the epidemic, the college continues to conduct all educational activities. Director of the college Narayan Kafle informed that all the educational activities including online examination, publication of results, student admission are being conducted through the virtual medium.
“Even before the coronavirus epidemic broke out, we used to give online classes to students. Probably because they have already mastered the technology and moved forward. There were not many problems in conducting classes online. He also added that the participation of the students was very encouraging. We have not allowed this epidemic to affect our educational activities and our regular educational programs. Now, the college has made a plan on how to move the educational program forward even if there is an epidemic in the future. ‘
Why study at Himalayan White House International College?
Kafle says the Himalayan White House International College has a good management team because it is the first choice of students. He says, ‘The management side has the biggest role to play in running any school and college well.
Only then will the quality of college education and discipline remain strong. We have members with academic experience from home and abroad in the management group. ‘
Executive Director Kafle claims that the guidance is focused on the areas that will be in demand tomorrow and the future of the students. “We ourselves have gone to the best university in the world. We have understood the educational system and manners there. We have explored how the manpower produced there has improved. ‘
He said that the college is conducting educational activities looking at where science and technology will take the society and education sector in the next 20 years. Stating that education should be compatible not only in the context of Nepal but also globally, he said that they have taken this approach.
Kafle claims that the White House College, with its physically and technically well-equipped structures, has hardworking, motivating and emotionally connected teachers.
“Having a big building, a big playground, a swimming pool alone doesn’t guarantee quality education,” Kafle said. It is important that the resources are used for the benefit of the students, ”he said. He said that the college has been mobilizing the resources required by the students as much as possible and using them for their own benefit.
“We have been participating in 15 clubs to develop students’ abilities, keep them active in sports and hold cultural events. “It benefits students by increasing their creativity, critical emotion, leadership, communication and ability to express themselves,” Kafle said.
Kafle claims that the college has helped students gain confidence in what they want to be and what they are happy with, even if they have only been in the White House for two years. “We are a student-centred college,” he says. We are also working on how to make the whole school a family and how students, teachers, staff and parents can work together to make the students as efficient, qualified and capable as possible. ‘
Emphasizing self-discipline, the college claims that no one is bound by unnecessary rules. “We enable students to do digital marketing, animation, graphics design and teamwork, communication and leadership development while taking the NEB exam.”
He said that they do not evaluate anyone’s dream unnecessarily and instead respect everyone’s dream. “White House College has always stood and will stand as a strong support to fulfil their dreams,” Kafle said.
He adds, “Now that students and parents have the opportunity to learn about college universities around the world from their own gadgets at home, using the resources they use, Himalayan White House College is a competitive, trustworthy and proud institution.” And the college is always ready and eager to show the confused students their destination. ‘
