TOKYO: AUGUST 8 – The United States has overtaken China in the medal tally of the Tokyo Olympics. On the last day of the 16-day competition, the United States topped the list by winning gold. The United States became the champion in the medal table.

From the fifth to the 15th day of the competition, China topped the table. For the first four days, Japan topped the list. Japan is in third place on the last day.

The United States has won 112 medals, including 39 gold, 40 silver and 33 bronze.

Second-placed China has won 88 medals, including 38 gold, 32 silver and 18 bronze. Third place Japan has won 58 medals with 27 gold, 14 silver and 17 bronze.

Britain finished fourth with 65 medals, including 22 gold, 21 silver and 22 bronze.

In this Olympics, 65 countries have won gold medals and 93 countries have won some medals. The Olympics is coming to an end today.
