UML central committee meeting was postponed for one day

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 8 – CPN-UML has postponed the meeting of the Central Committee convened today. The meeting convened by CPN (Maoist) Chairman KP Sharma Oli for today has been postponed to tomorrow due to various reasons.

Earlier, CPN (Maoist) Chairman Oli’s group had called a meeting of the Central Committee for today. However, CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal’s faction had requested the Oli group to suspend the party’s activities for the time being and the Central Committee meeting convened for today.

Secretary of the party office Sher Bahadur Tamang informed that the meeting was postponed for one day for the sake of party unity.
