KATHMANDU: AUGUST 6 – The Nepali Congress has convened a meeting of the Central Working Committee to discuss the preparations for the 14th General Convention. Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel informed that a meeting was convened at the party’s central office in Sanepa on August 12 at 2 p.m.

According to him, the meeting will discuss the party’s 14th general convention schedule and election guidelines. The Congress had made a schedule to hold the Central General Convention on September 1 to 4. However, the failure to resolve the active membership dispute has affected the lower level convention.

Congress has called the Central Committee at a time when there is confusion about the General Convention.
