Ministry of Health’s recommendation to postpone all examinations
KATHMANDU: AUGUST 6 – The Ministry of Health has recommended to the CCMC to postpone the examinations at all levels. According to Minister of State for Health Umesh Shrestha, the ministry has recommended postponing all examinations. “I would like to inform that the Ministry of Health and Population has recommended to the Ministry of Education and COVID-19 Crisis Management Center to postpone all the upcoming exams,” Shrestha said on his official Twitter account.
Minister Shrestha claims that the ministry is sensitive towards the survival of 400,000 students in the situation where the COVID-19 is spreading. Earlier, academics, intellectuals and stakeholders had demanded that the examination be postponed.
