KATHMANDU: AUGUST 6 – The number of workers coming home on leave and getting new visas for foreign employment has increased in the passport department and consular branch. As Corona’s havoc subsided, the department was overcrowded every day to complete the government process to return to employment.

The service recipients visit the department to renew their passports, renew their police reports, and verify the vaccination certificate. Although the number of infected people is increasing day by day in Nepal, the service recipients in the department do not seem to follow the health standards nor are they required to follow them strictly.

Not only are the service recipients suffering daily due to unorganized government work, but the risk of coronavirus has also increased.
