KATHMANDU: AUGUST 5 – Senior Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel has said that the current Congress Central Committee will not exist after September 8. Pointing out that the committee will lose its legitimacy after September 8, Poudel said, “This central committee cannot remain after September 8. This Central Committee will not exist after September 8. Its legitimacy is over. ‘

Leader Poudel had a discussion with the leaders close to him on Thursday (today). The meeting was held at the residence of former general secretary Prakash Man Singh. Leader Poudel was accompanied by General Secretary Shashank Koirala, former General Secretary Singh, former Joint General Minister Arjun Narasimha KC, central members Bal Bahadur KC, Minendra Rijal and other leaders.

According to leader Minendra Rijal, the meeting is drawing the attention of Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba to hold the 14th General Convention from September 1 to 4.
