The government has projected an increase in the infection rate in Shrawan, adding about 200,000 infected people in five months

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 5 – The government has projected the coronavirus rate to rise in Shrawan. According to the projection presented by the Ministry of Health in the parliamentary committee, the coronavirus rate will be high in Shrawan and then it will gradually decrease.

According to the projection, the number of coronavirus will reach 193,000 in the next five months.

Presenting the projection, the head of the policy planning and monitoring division of the Ministry of Health, Dr Gunaraj Lohani informed that it is estimated that 193,856 people will be infected with coronavirus in five months.

It is estimated that 53 thousand 307 people will be infected in Shrawan, 45 thousand 726 in Bhadra, 38 thousand 597 in Ashoj, 31 thousand 44 in Kartik and 25 thousand 183 in Manghsir.

Chief Dr. Lohani informed that 9 thousand 693 of them will be seriously ill and they need intensive treatment and 38 thousand 771 people need treatment accordingly.
