Dhungana claims to be the President of Congress State 1
TEHRATHUM: AUGUST 5 – As the activities of the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress are increasing, the aspirants are opening up not only at the center, but also at the state, district and local levels. The number of people declaring their candidature for the post they want is increasing. Meanwhile, Govinda Dhungana has also announced his candidature for the post of president of State No.1. Dhungana is the district president of Tehrathum for two terms.
Dhungana, who has been the secretary of the district working committee for eight years and co-chair for three years, has also served as the district president for 16 years. Amrit Aryal, Rajiv Koirala and Uddhav Thapa are also claiming to be the president of State-1.
Aryal, who has been the chairman of Morang for two terms, is now a member of the Central Committee. Koirala is the president of Sunsari and the leader of the Congress parliamentary party in State 1. Thapa is the president of Jhapa. Thus, the claim of four people is seen in the chairman of State 1. Aryal is close to president Sher Bahadur Deuba. All others belong to the perfume group.
