Director Umesh’s deserted funeral

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 5 – Director Umesh Nath Aryal has passed away. Directed by ‘Bhid Dekhi Bhid Samma (Crowd to Crowd)’, his demise was attended by a handful of people. One of them was actor Saroj Khanal. He considers Umesh as his mentor. Therefore, a few days ago, even on Guru Purnima, Saroj had gone to his residence to meet Umesh.

Umesh’s last physical appearance was attended by only a few relatives and some filmmakers. One of the witnesses, Saroj, is deeply saddened. He is afraid that his demise will be the same. He was forced to think about whether he would get four shoulders to pick up his own body tomorrow. It is shocking that Umesh, who directed the popular serial, was not present at his funeral with artists, journalists and close friends.

Even before this, new artists were not seen at the funeral of the artist.
