Claims to have agreed to contract a part-time professor

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 5 – According to the Partial Professors’ Struggle Committee, an agreement has been reached between the Tribhuvan University and the part-time professors who have taught one academic session and fulfilled the criteria.

Gokul Limbu, the coordinator of the Central Struggle Committee, told Makalu Khabar that the agreement was reached between the negotiating committee and the struggle committee of the Tribhuvan University.

Limbu also informed that it was agreed to convene the meeting of the executive committee of Tribhuvan University within four days. Limbu said that it was not right to give an unconditional contract to a part-time professor and that the criteria including their class weight should have been met.
