COVID-19 Vaccine: 1.6 million doses of vaccine is to arrive in Nepal by Sunday

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 5 – The AstraZeneca vaccine, which is being given as a grant by the Japanese government, is scheduled to arrive in Nepal on Saturday and Sunday. According to Minister of State for Health Umesh Shrestha, 1.6 million doses of vaccine will arrive in Nepal by Sunday.

Japan had announced to provide 1.6 million vaccines against COVID-19 to Nepal at the end of July. Minister of State Shrestha has also mentioned that those who have taken the first dose of Covidshield will be given the second dose soon.
