KABUL: AUGUST 4 – The Taliban outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack on the Afghan defence minister’s residence on Tuesday evening, saying the militants conducted the suicide attack and inflicted casualties.

“A few suicide bombers, after detonating an explosive-laden car, entered the residence of the defence minister of Kabul administration and inflicted huge casualties on enemies,” Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said in his twitter account on Wednesday.

Mujahid also noted that the “Mujahideen” (holy warriors) of the “Islamic Emirate” (name of the ousted Taliban regime) will not stay indifferent to the attacks of the Kabul administration against them.
