Kidney transplant of Jhalanath Khanal

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 4 – Senior CPN-UML leader and former prime minister Jhala Nath Khanal has undergone a kidney transplant. Leader Khanal underwent a kidney transplant at the Apollo Hospital in India on Wednesday.

According to Khanal’s secretariat, Khanal’s doctors Akhil Mishra and Sandeep Guleria have successfully performed kidney transplants. According to the secretariat, Khanal’s health is now normal.

Leader Khanal has been undergoing treatment for a long time. The government has provided Rs 3 million for Khanal’s medical expenses.
