The possibility of heavy rains in these states today, urged to remain vigilant

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 2 – Currently, it is cloudy in most parts of the country and it is raining in a few places in State 1, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini. According to the Weather Forecast Division, it is raining in Nepal due to the influence of monsoon winds.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in many places across the country in the afternoon. Heavy rain with thunderstorms is also expected in one or two places of State 1, Bagmati and Gandaki.

Extreme levels of erosion and landslides are expected in areas prone to heavy rains.
