KATHMANDU: AUGUST 1 – The floods in Melamchi of Sindhupalchowk have again damaged the physical infrastructure. The floods since Saturday night have damaged 17 houses in Helambu and Melamchi municipalities.
The local administration has stated that the floods are still increasing. The District Administration Office, Sindhupalchowk, had informed the residents of the coastal area last night to be vigilant. It is estimated that the flood came after the landslide in Bhimathang of Helambu and the closure of Melamchi.
