UML Standing Committee meeting postponed
KATHMANDU: JULY 31 – UML standing committee meeting has been postponed. Leader Subashchandra Nemwang informed that the meeting was postponed at the request of senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal’s side. “Today has been postponed,” said Nemwang. The meeting has been postponed at the request of (Nepal side).
Earlier, a discussion was held between the leaders of Chairman KP Sharma Oli’s side and Nepal’s side at Singha Durbar. Where the leaders of the Nepali side were requested to postpone the meeting. The meeting convened by Chairman Oli for 3 o’clock on Saturday (today) has been shifted again to 3 o’clock on Sunday (tomorrow).
The establishment party had been calling today’s meeting decisive on the issue of party unity. Today, Chairman Oli had said that there is no place for Madhav Nepal in the party.
