Upendra Yadav elected as the leader of the JSP parliamentary party

KATHMANDU: JULY 31 – Upendra Yadav has been elected as the leader of the People’s Socialist Party, Nepal’s parliamentary party. Leader Renukumari Yadav informed that a meeting of the People’s Socialist Party parliamentary party held on Saturday (today) unanimously elected Yadav as the party leader. “Today’s meeting has selected him (Yadav) as the leader of the party,” Yadav said. “He has become by consensus.”

In the meeting, Federal Council Chairman Dr Baburam Bhattarai had proposed Yadav as the party leader while leader Mahendra Rai Yadav had supported him. The meeting was attended by 21 federal parliamentarians.
