Fugitive ‘Bhoje Mama’ arrested in 33 kg gold case

KATHMANDU: JULY 31 – Police have arrested a fugitive accused of 33 kg of gold from Gaushala in Kathmandu. Bhoj Raj Bhandari alias Bhoje Mama was arrested on Friday, according to the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police.

According to the premises, he is a fugitive defendant in the case of illegal trade of gold smuggling, abduction and hostage-taking. As the case is pending in the Morang District Court, he will be sent to Morang after necessary investigation, police said.
