Providing a telescope to the school

KATHMANDU: JULY 30 – Singer Yogeshwor Amatya has donated a telescope to Panchakanya Secondary School in the Chhauni. The materials have been distributed to the students studying in the community schools to arouse their interest in astronomy and space science.

Chairman of the Nepal Astronomical Society Suresh Bhattarai handed over the equipment to the school’s principal Rupa Manandhar on Thursday. On the occasion, Chairman Bhattarai said that there would be a continuous support to the school administration and students. Society has stated that the campaign of giving free telescopes to the community schools with the help of various donors will be continued.
