Possibility of heavy rains in these areas, urging to be vigilant

KATHMANDU: JULY 30 – Light rain is falling in some places of State 1, Bagmati, Gandaki and Far Western State. According to the Weather Forecast Division, it is raining in Nepal due to the influence of monsoon winds.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in many places across the country in the afternoon. There is a possibility of heavy rain in State 1, Bagmati, Karnali and one or two places in the far western states.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some places with normal to complete cloud cover at night. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Lumbini, Karnali and one or two places in the far western states.

The department has urged to take necessary precautions as there is a risk of soil erosion, landslides and drizzle in hilly areas as there is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in State 1, Bagmati, Lumbini and Far Western States.
