Michael’s request to provide vaccine in Nepal
KATHMANDU: JULY 29 – At a time when corona infections are on the rise in Nepal, foreign artists are urging people to help vaccinate against corona.
Recently, even world-renowned comedian Michael Palin has urged the British government to provide a vaccine against coronavirus to Nepal as soon as possible.
He issued a joint statement with Amnesty International on Wednesday, demanding that the first dose of vaccine be made available to 1.4 million Nepali citizens who need a second dose. He said that there is a high risk of coronavirus in Nepal and urged to save the lives of Nepalis by providing vaccines to Nepal as soon as possible.
His statement said, “During my visit to Nepal, I met many people and saw that millions of people were at risk of epidemics. I urge the UK government to make the COVID-19 vaccine available as soon as possible. “
