11 couples selected in Prem Dhoj Pradhan’s cover song competition
KATHMANDU: JULY 29 – Eleven couples have been shortlisted in the cover singing competition of the late singer Prem Dhoj Pradhan’s song ‘Ti Aankha Ma’. Dedicating to Pradhan, the competition was organized by the organizer Asian Music.
Out of 173 people who sent videos for the competition, 11 couples have been selected for the final competition. The results of the singing competition will be announced on 5 August. The winning couple will be given the opportunity to sing a song by Asian Music.
Organizer Ishwor Gurung said that the cover singing competition of the song was organized as a tribute to Pradhan. The song, composed by Dabbu Chhetri and set to music by Jugal Dangol, was released five years ago. Pradhan and Kenjuma Subba have filled the voice in the song.
