8.1-magnitude quake hits waters off Alaska, U.S.: CENC

BEIJING: JULY 29 – A 8.1-magnitude earthquake jolted the sea areas south of Alaska, the United States at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was monitored at 55.40 degrees north latitude and 158.00 degrees west longitude, said the CENC.
