KATHMANDU: JULY 28 – In the ongoing Tokyo Olympics 2020 in Japan, Nepali swimmer Gaurika Singh has become the third in Heat 1.
In the 100-meter freestyle, Gaurika finished third in 1 minute 0.11 seconds.
Earlier, she set a national record by completing the required distance in 58.13 seconds while winning a gold medal in the 13th South Asian Games.

Gaurika was also behind the Indian player in winning the gold at that time. She has been training continuously since then and has got the opportunity to compete for the second time in a row on the basis of University Places.
