Three killed, seven injured in jeep accident
KATHMANDU: JULY 28 – Three persons died and seven others were injured in a jeep accident in Gulmi district this morning. Identities of the deceased have not been ascertained yet.
The accident took place when the jeep (Lu 1 Ja 4559) heading towards Tamghas from Shantipur fell around 300 meters off the road at Dobhan of Musikot municipality-4, according to the District Police Office, Gulmi.
The injured along with the jeep driver is being brought to Gulmi Hospital, Tamghas for treatment, said Superintendent of Police, Gopal Chandra Bhattarai.
Security personnel from Bami, Majuwa and Tamghas had reached the incident site soon after getting the information about the incident. The reason behind the accident has yet to be ascertained. Further details about the accident are awaited, said police.
