Meeting of the ruling coalition continues in Baluwatar
KATHMANDU: JULY 28 – A meeting of the ruling coalition has started to discuss the expansion of the Council of Ministers. The meeting started at 9 am at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.
According to Deuba’s personal secretary Bhanu Deuba, the meeting is attended by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN-Maoist Central Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Janata Samajwadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav and Rastriya Janamorcha Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC.
Even two weeks after the formation of the government, the cabinet has not been expanded. It is said that the expansion of the Council of Ministers and other issues are being discussed in the ongoing meeting. The Deuba-led government has two ministers and one minister of state from Congress and two ministers from the Maoists.
