Possibility of heavy rains in these areas, urging to be vigilant

KATHMANDU: JULY 28 – Currently, light to moderate rains are falling in Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali states. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon low-pressure line has changed due to its proximity to the Western Terai.

There is a possibility of rain all over the country in the afternoon while heavy rain is expected in Gandaki, Lumbini and a few places in the far western states. Heavy rains are also expected in State 1, Bagmati and Far Western States tomorrow.

Due to landslides and rising river levels in the rain-hit areas, necessary precautions have been requested.
